Today on Twitter, Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds posted a tweet with a nice announcement. Deadpool’s release date of September 6th, 2024. While this is huge news for all of us Marvel and Deadpool fans, it was an even bigger surprise for those looking for the most prevalent X-Man to make an appearance in the MCU after the easter egg found in episode two of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law on Disney Plus.

Hugh Jackman’s last appearance as the lovable brute was in 2017’s Logan, which was supposed to be his last go round for the character. Since Patrick Stewart did return as Professor X for a cameo in this year’s Dr. Strange, it’s honestly no surprise that Hugh would return to the role. It is yet to be determined the extent the role will be, however, fans can start getting excited as this is yet another announcement for Phase 6 of the MCU.
